At Trip Limo Service LLC, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines our cancellation and refund procedures to ensure transparency and fairness for all our valued customers. Please read this policy carefully before making a reservation.

How do I cancel my reservation?
Cancellations can only be made via phone or email. To cancel your reservation, please contact us using one of the following methods:

Your cancellation will be considered official once Trip Limo Service acknowledges it via email confirmation. Please keep your cancellation confirmation for your records.

Standard Cancellation Policy
We offer a flexible cancellation policy for most bookings:
- 24+ hours before pickup: Full refund, no cancellation fee
- 12-24 hours before pickup: 50% cancellation fee
- Less than 12 hours before pickup: No refund (full charge applies)
- After driver dispatch: No refund (full charge applies)
Cancellation time is calculated based on your originally scheduled pickup time.

Special Event Cancellation Policy
For special events such as weddings, proms, concerts, and sporting events, different cancellation terms may apply:
- 7+ days before event: Full refund, no cancellation fee
- 3-7 days before event: 50% cancellation fee
- Less than 3 days before event: No refund (full charge applies)
Special event bookings require advance deposits, which are subject to the above cancellation terms.

Hourly Charter Cancellation Policy
For hourly charter services in the San Diego area:
- 48+ hours before pickup: Full refund, no cancellation fee
- 24-48 hours before pickup: 50% cancellation fee
- Less than 24 hours before pickup: No refund (full charge applies)
All hourly reservations have a minimum of 3 hours.

No-Show Policy
A “No-Show” occurs when a customer fails to appear at the scheduled pickup location without prior cancellation. In case of a No-Show:
- The full fare will be charged with no refund
- Any applicable gratuity and wait time fees will also be charged
For Airport Pickups: Our driver will wait up to 1 hour after your flight lands at no extra charge. Please contact the driver (number provided in your confirmation email) or call (858) 413-8888 when you are ready for curbside pickup. If you leave the airport without contacting us, it will be recorded as a No-Show and the full amount will be charged.
For All Other Pickups: Our driver will wait at your pickup location for a reasonable amount of time past your scheduled pickup. If you cannot be reached or fail to appear, it will be considered a No-Show.

How do I modify my reservation?
Need to change your pickup time, location, or other details? We’re happy to accommodate modifications when possible:
- 24+ hours before pickup: Free modifications (subject to availability)
- Less than 24 hours before pickup: Modifications subject to availability and may incur additional charges

How are refunds processed?
When a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for booking
- Credit card refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement
- PayPal refunds typically take 3-5 business days
- You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed
Please note that your bank or credit card company may have their own processing times that are beyond our control.

Trip Limo Service Cancellations
In rare circumstances, Trip Limo Service may need to cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as:
- Severe weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Vehicle mechanical issues
- Road closures or unsafe driving conditions
If we cancel your reservation, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost. We will make every effort to notify you as soon as possible and assist with alternative arrangements.
